Core Content Areas
 
The Credential addresses seven core content areas and is awarded at four levels of proficiency. These content areas and levels mirror the teacher standards and competencies developed through ABSPD with input from the field. The competency-based Credential is designed to serve as a pathway of professional growth for new instructors as well as experienced practitioners.  Receipt of the Credential involves a combination of professional development, reflective activities, application, and observation.
