Core Content Areas

When fully developed, the Credential will address seven core content areas and will be awarded at four levels of proficiency. These content areas and levels mirror the teacher standards and competencies developed through ABSPD with input from the field. The competency-based Credential will be designed to serve as a pathway of professional growth for new instructors as well as experienced practitioners.  Receipt of the Credential will involve a combination of professional development, reflective activities, application, and observation.
