The course is more than a reading tutorial
– it’s interactive. This means there are activities and
assignments that will keep instructors engaged.

Assignments – Lessons are included to
provide pragmatic use in starting or working in a distance
learning program.

Video – There are short video clips
that participants will view during the course that
illustrate key components in distance learning.

Discussion Board – Participants will be
asked periodically to post their reflections on the
discussion board. This will give them a chance to read what
others are thinking as well.

Knowledge Checks - At the end of each
lesson, there’s a short Quiz to ensure understanding of the
content.

Course Summary Exam - Successful
completion of the summary exam and each of the lesson
quizzes are required for a certificate of completion.
